Ceramic, thread, metal needles

This work explores what it means to be inside out, that vulnerable state where our internal landscape becomes external and our attempts at self-repair and healing are laid out for everyone to see. Each red thread piercing through the needle and into the ceramic form shows the delicate, often painful process of mending ourselves. We reach through our own brokenness with such violent tenderness, knowing how fragile we can become.
